Dear Yoga Friends,
I’m excited to share details about our upcoming 40-Hour Ashtanga Teacher Training Course, scheduled over two weekends: June 27–28 and July 26–27, 2025.
Although I’ve titled this event Ashtanga Teacher Training, the true intention is to help you deepen the foundations of your personal yoga practice—whether you plan to teach or simply want to level up your yoga.
This will be the first Ashtanga Teacher Training in Groningen, and I’m thrilled to spend time diving into the yoga topics I’m most passionate about. The course is 90% practical, with just 10% theory, making it ideal for yoga practitioners who prefer hands-on learning over lecture-based study.
Core topics will include:
- The Ashtanga First Series
- Hands-On Adjustments
- Modifications & Enhancements
- Yoga Anatomy
- Ashtanga Philosophy
- Sanskrit & Mantra
- Pranayama & Meditation
We’ll be packing a lot into just two weekends!
I’m also looking forward to sharing insights from my 25 years of experience teaching Ashtanga and the many lessons I’ve learned about supporting students across all levels:
- Teaching Beginners
- Working with Injuries
- Ashtanga for Prenatal Students
- Guiding Advanced Practitioners
- …and much more!
In addition to classroom hours, you’ll receive self-study materials through my online portal, a curated reading list, a teacher training manual, and access to a WhatsApp group for direct connection with me and your fellow trainees.
You can find the full schedule and course outline on the Teacher Training Course page.
Feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions or to sign up. The early bird deadline is May 30.
And if you can’t make it this time, no worries—I plan to offer more trainings in the near future.
Much love,
Adarsh
